Kriti Upadhyaya

Founding Director

Ms. Kriti Upadhyaya is a Washington D.C.-based U.S.-India technology policy leader. Presently, she is the Vice President of Strategic Advisory at C2Ci Americas, an intelligent platforms company providing defense and industry 4.0 solutions globally. Kriti is also the Founder of Indus Tech Council, a Washington D.C.-based think tank working to intensify U.S.-India technology collaboration through greater investment and technology collaboration. Previously, Kriti was an Associate Fellow for the Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she led the Chair’s work on Indian economic reforms and U.S.-India defense ties. She has held various positions in policy and research roles in India and the United States in the past eight years.


Kriti frequently appears in Indian media as a policy analyst and U.S.- India expert. Further, her quotes and bylines have appeared in leading national and international media. She has been a part of over 70 roundtables, more than 50 prestigious panels, and has made over 30 presentations at leading think tanks, universities, government ministries and departments, and business forums. She holds a B.A. from Hindu College at the University of Delhi and an M.A. from the School of International Service at American University.
