Shailendra holds vast experience of working in Ministry of Home Affairs while dealing with IT & Telecom related policy matters including issues related with internet based services like social media , digital media & entertainment, online gaming, data governance , data security , cloud services, e-commerce, FinTech, 5G, Satellite Communication Services, Cryptocurrency and Security concerns of other Emerging Technology and digital platform based services.

During the nine years tenure in MHA, was instrumental in formulation of various regulatory policies related to cybersecurity, social media, digital media intermediaries including online gaming intermediaries. He has served as the key point of contact in the ministry for the cyber & telecom related law enforcement matters and national security & public safety related issues of cyberspace. 

He has a very good understanding of IT , Telecom, Digital Media & Entertainment , AVGC industries related regulatory compliance issues and has close working relations with the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting , Department of Telecom and other Ministries / Central Law Enforcement Agencies including State Government and Police Organisations.

During the tenure of working in National Security Guard (NSG) and Central Police Organisation (Border Security Force), he served in various roles of security management, threat assessment, security surveillance operations, administration & logistics , team management etc.
